  VO Visas || Alberta publishes details of two September PNP draws Both of Alberta's newest PNP draws only required Express Entry candidates to have a CRS of 300. Alberta recently held two rounds of invitations for  Express Entry  candidates. The  Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program  (AINP) held one draw on September 14, where 385 immigration candidates were invited to apply for a provincial nomination. Invited candidates needed a score of at least 300 in the Express Entry system in order to be eligible for an invitation.   VO Visas || Saskatchewan invites 391 PNP candidates Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand candidates were invited in the new Saskatchewan PNP draw. Saskatchewan held a new round of invitations on September 27. The  Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program  (SINP) invited 391 candidates to apply for one of two  immigration programs . Of those invited, 152 may be eligible for the SINP’s  Express Entry subcategory , and 239 may be eligible for the  Occupations In-Demand sub-category . The lowest-scoring candidate from each sub-category had 71 points on Saskatchewan’s  Expression of Interest  (EOI) ranking system.  VO Visas || Manitoba invites 650 in latest PNP draw Manitoba has now issued 8,041 invitations to PNP candidates since the start of 2021 Manitoba invited 650 immigration candidates to apply for a provincial nomination on September 23. Invited candidates may now apply for a nomination from the  Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program  (MPNP). If they get the nomination, it will support their final application for Canadian  permanent residence  and they will be able to apply as  Provincial Nominee Program  (PNP) candidates. The results of the latest draw are as follows: Skilled Workers in Manitoba  — 529 invitations with a minimum EOI score of 401; Skilled Workers Overseas  — 67 invitations with a minimum EOI score of 718; and International Education Stream  — 54 invitations with no EOI score requirement.   VO Visas || 74 immigration candidates invited in new BC PNP Tech draw B.C. has now issued over 8,661 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination since the start of 2021. B.C. invited 74 tech workers to apply for a provincial nomination on September 21. The invitations were issued through the BC PNP Tech, which is a stream under the  British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program  (BC PNP). Candidates invited through B.C’s Tech draws must meet the requirements of one of British Columbia’s  Express Entry BC  and  Skills immigration  categories, which are managed by the Skills and Immigration Registration System (SIRS). On September 22, Ontario invited 72 immigration candidates to apply for a provincial nomination. The  Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program  (OINP) held its third-ever  In-Demand Skills  stream draw under its new intake system. Ontario’s new  Expression of Interest  (EOI) system replaces the old first-come-first-served model, and means that interested candidates can register at any time for a chance to receive an invitation from Ontario. In other words, “express their interest” to apply for a provincial nomination under an Ontario  Provincial Nominee Program  (PNP). Ontario held a new round of invitations on September 21, inviting 995 to apply for a provincial nomination. The  Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program  (OINP) invited candidates who had profiles in the  Expression of Interest  (EOI) pool. Candidates may have qualified for one of two  Employer Job Offer  streams.   British Columbia  invites 488 in new PNP draws || VO Visas B.C. has now issued 8,089 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination since the start of the year. British Columbia invited 488 immigration candidates through four  Provincial Nominee Program  (PNP) draws held on August 31, 2021. Since February, British Columbia has been conducting two separate rounds of invitations for its PNP program each month. The province holds a general draw and a second draw targeting retail and wholesale retail managers as well as restaurant and foodservice managers. The second draw is due to a high number of people registered in the BC PNP  Skills Immigration Registration System  (SIRS) with these two occupations, the province said in a news release. By holding these additional draws, B.C. aims to balance the needs in all sectors of the provincial labour market.
