 Express Entry  PNP candidates invited with CRS 760 || VO Visas Canada invited 627 PNP candidates in its newest Express Entry draw. Canada invited 627 Express Entry candidates to apply for permanent residence on July 7. The invitation round was only for candidates who had a nomination from a  Provincial Nominee Program  (PNP). These candidates needed a score of at least 760. The cutoff score is relatively high because PNP candidates automatically get 600 points added to their score. Without this award, the lowest-scoring candidate would have 160 points. I mmigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada  (IRCC) also published a cutoff time for the  tie-break rule . This is an administrative requirement, and it does not mean there was any actual tie. Canada updates Express Entry proof of funds for 2021   |  VO Visas  The announcement suggests an all-program Express Entry draw is imminent for Federal Skilled Worker Program and Federal Skilled Trades Program candidates. Canada has updated the amount of funds Express Entry candidates need to immigrate. The changes apply to Express Entry candidates in the  Federal Skilled Worker Program  (FSWP) and the  Federal Skilled Trades Program  (FSTP). It does not apply to candidates from these programs who have a valid job offer in Canada. If your proof of funds documents show less than these amounts, you will have to update your Express Entry profile no later than July 15, 2021.   52 invited in new BC PNP Tech Draw  | VO Visas B.C. has now issued 5,782 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination since the start of 2021. B.C. invited 52 immigration candidates who work in the IT sector to apply for a provincial nomination on June 29. The new invitations were issued through the BC PNP Tech, which is part of the  British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program  (BC PNP). Those invited through B.C’s Tech draws must meet the requirements of one of British Columbia’s  Express Entry BC  and  Skills immigration  categories, which are managed by the Skills and Immigration Registration System (SIRS).   Major Manitoba PNP draw invites 1,017 Express Entry candidates  | VO Visas Manitoba has now issued 4,722 invitations to PNP candidates since the start of 2021. Manitoba invited a record-breaking number of Express Entry candidates to apply for a provincial nomination on June 28.  Quebec issues 69 invitations in new Arrima draw | VO Visas Quebec immigration held its fifth draw of 2021 through the Arrima Expression of Interest system. Quebec invited 69 immigration candidates to apply for permanent selection. Details of this latest round of invitations have been released today. The Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration (MIFI) invited candidates under the  Regular Skilled Worker Program (RSWP)  who had filed an  Expression of Interest  (EOI) in Quebec’s online registration portal,  Arrima . An EOI is not an application. It is a way for candidates to notify Quebec’s Ministry of Immigration that they would like to be considered for a   Quebec Selection Certificate  or CSQ. When they receive a CSQ candidates can apply for permanent residence with the federal government. Canada’s Express Entry draw invites 6,000 CEC immigration candidates | VO Visas  CRS requirement drops again, this time to 357. It is the second-lowest CRS for a CEC-only draw ever. Canada held another Express Entry draw today A total of 6,000 candidates were invited to apply for permanent residence through the  Canadian Experience Class  (CEC). The  Comprehensive Ranking System score requirement (CRS)  was 357. This CRS cut-off is the second-lowest ever for a CEC-only draw. The lowest was 75 during the historic February 13, 2021 draw that saw 27,332 CEC candidates invited to apply for permanent residence. The CRS requirement continues to fall in CEC-only draws as  Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada  (IRCC) looks for even more in-Canada candidates to invite to support its goal of welcoming 401,000 new immigrants this year. CEC candidates have a minimum of one year of Canadian work experience in a   skilled occupation , and at least an intermediate level of English or French.
